New Delhi: Hyundai is all set to launch the facelift version of its popular three-row SUV, the Alcazar, on September 9. The new model has been spotted multiple times during testing, and fans are eagerly awaiting the updates. While the engine and power output will remain unchanged, the facelifted Alcazar will feature several design and feature enhancements, making it more appealing than ever.

Design Upgrades: A Fresh Look Inspired by the Creta Facelift

The upcoming Hyundai Alcazar facelift will incorporate design cues from the Creta facelift, giving it a refreshed and modern appearance. The most noticeable changes will be at the front, where the SUV is expected to sport a new grille design and a revamped bumper. However, the headlamp cluster will retain its signature split setup, which has been a distinctive feature of the Alcazar.

Moving to the side profile, the facelifted Alcazar is likely to feature new alloy wheel designs and updated side cladding. The rear of the SUV will also see some changes, with redesigned taillamps and a new tailgate. Despite these cosmetic updates, the dimensions of the Alcazar will remain the same as the previous model.

Interior Enhancements: More Comfort and Technology

Inside, the new Alcazar is expected to offer a more premium experience with the introduction of a dual-screen setup. This will likely include a digital instrument cluster and an upgraded infotainment system, enhancing the overall driving experience. Additionally, the cabin will feature soft-touch materials, further elevating the sense of luxury.

Engine and Powertrain Options: Reliable Performance

The Hyundai Alcazar facelift will continue to offer two engine options. The first is a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine, capable of producing 160 bhp and 253 Nm of torque. The second is a 1.5-liter diesel engine, delivering 116 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. Buyers will have a choice of three transmission options: a 6-speed manual gearbox, a 6-speed automatic for the diesel variant, and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission for the petrol model.

    Price Expectations: A Slight Increase

With the mid-life facelift, the new Hyundai Alcazar is expected to see a slight price increase compared to the current model. The existing Alcazar is priced between Rs 16.78 lakh and Rs 21.28 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated version, with its added features and refreshed design, will likely come with a higher price tag, making it a more premium offering in its segment.

Hyundai’s Alcazar has been a popular choice for those seeking a spacious and feature-rich SUV, and the upcoming facelift is expected to build on that success. With its updated design, enhanced interiors, and reliable performance, the new Alcazar is set to attract even more buyers when it hits the market on September 9.
