JSW MG Motor India Private Limited is poised to introduce an exciting lineup of products in the Indian market, beginning with the much-anticipated MG Windsor EV. This electric crossover aims to blend style, comfort, and advanced technology, promising to be a game-changer in its segment. Here’s what we know about the MG Windsor EV so far.

A New Benchmark in Rear Seat Comfort

The MG Windsor EV stands out with its unique seating features, setting new standards for passenger comfort. Unlike most vehicles where only the front seats recline, the Windsor EV’s rear seats can recline up to 135 degrees. This feature provides rear passengers with an experience akin to the comfort of aeroplane economy class seats, making long journeys more enjoyable and relaxing.

    Luxurious Interior Features

Inside the MG Windsor EV, passengers will be treated to luxurious black leatherette seats adorned with diamond-shaped stitching. The design exudes elegance and sophistication, promising a premium feel. For added comfort, the electric crossover will feature three headrests and armrests in the rear, catering to the needs of passengers on longer trips. Complementing the plush seating is the cabin’s ambient blue lighting, enhancing the vehicle’s modern and sleek aesthetic.

    Luxurious Interior Features

    Cutting-Edge Infotainment and Safety

The MG Windsor EV is not just about comfort; it’s also packed with state-of-the-art infotainment and safety features. Large screens for both infotainment and driver display will provide easy access to vehicle controls and entertainment options. MG is known for its commitment to safety, and the Windsor EV will uphold this reputation with its comprehensive suite of safety features, ensuring peace of mind for all occupants.

Impressive Battery Range and Fast Charging

Powering the MG Windsor EV is a robust battery pack, expected to range between 40kWh and 50kWh. According to media reports, this will enable the electric crossover to achieve a range of 350 to 450 kilometers on a single charge, making it ideal for both city commutes and longer trips. Additionally, the Windsor EV will support fast charging, ensuring that drivers can quickly recharge and continue their journeys with minimal downtime.

    MG’s Commitment to EV Infrastructure

MG Motor is not just focusing on producing innovative electric vehicles; it is also dedicated to enhancing the EV infrastructure in India. Recently, the company introduced the eHUB unified charging program, which simplifies the charging process for electric vehicle owners by providing comprehensive information about charging stations across the country. In addition, MG’s Project Revive aims to repurpose used EV batteries, contributing to sustainable practices. The EV education platform, EV PEDIA, and the innovative connectivity platform developed in collaboration with Jio further demonstrate MG’s commitment to fostering electric mobility in India.
