    The much-anticipated Tata Curvv EV has officially launched in the Indian market, and bookings are now open as of August 12th. Enthusiasts can soon get behind the wheel, with test drives beginning on August 13th. The excitement doesn’t stop there, as Tata Motors is set to reveal the prices for the petrol and diesel versions of the Curvv on September 2nd. If you’re eager to explore this cutting-edge electric SUV, you can visit your nearest Tata Motors showroom to check it out.

    Variants and Pricing

    The Tata Curvv EV is available in three distinct variants: Creative, Accomplished, and Empowered Plus. Each offers a unique set of features and capabilities, catering to different customer preferences. The SUV boasts a spacious 500-liter boot, making it practical for family trips and daily commuting.

    As for pricing, the Curvv EV starts at Rs 17.49 lakh and goes up to Rs 21.99 lakh, ex-showroom. It’s important to note that these prices are for a limited period, so potential buyers might want to act quickly.

    Features of Tata Curvv EV

    The Tata Curvv EV is packed with advanced features that enhance both comfort and convenience. Key highlights include:

    • 12.3-Inch Touchscreen: A large, user-friendly touchscreen that offers seamless control over various functions.
    • 10.25-Inch Driver Display: A digital display that provides essential driving information.
    • Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto: Connect your smartphone wirelessly for easy access to apps and media.
    • Panoramic Sunroof: Enjoy a wide view of the sky with the expansive sunroof.
    • 9-Speaker Sound System with Subwoofer: Experience premium audio quality with a powerful sound system.
    • Ventilated Front Seats: Stay cool and comfortable with ventilated seats, perfect for long drives.
    • Flush-Type Door Handles: Sleek and modern, these handles add to the SUV’s futuristic design.

    • Powered Driver Seats: Easily adjust your seating position for maximum comfort.

    Range and Battery Options

    The Tata Curvv EV offers two battery pack options to suit different driving needs:

    1. 45kWh Battery Pack: This medium-range option delivers an ARAI-claimed range of 502 km. It comes equipped with an electric motor that generates 150PS of power and 215Nm of torque.
    2. 55kWh Battery Pack: For those looking for extended range, this option provides up to 585 km. The accompanying electric motor produces 167PS of power and 215Nm of torque.

    Both variants support DC fast charging up to 70kW, allowing the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in just 40 minutes. Additionally, a 7.2 kW AC charger is available, which takes 6.5 hours to fully charge the 45kWh battery from 10% to 100%. The 55kWh battery requires about 8 hours for a complete charge.

    Safety Features

    Safety is a top priority in the Tata Curvv EV, which comes equipped with a comprehensive suite of safety features:

    • 6 Airbags: Standard across all variants, providing protection for both the driver and passengers.
    • Rear Parking Sensor: Assists in safe parking by detecting obstacles behind the vehicle.
    • Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD): Ensures optimal braking performance by distributing brake force effectively.
    • Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS): Prevents wheel lock-up during hard braking, enhancing control.
    • Electronic Stability Control (ESC): Helps maintain vehicle stability during sharp turns or sudden maneuvers.
    • ISOFIX Child Seat Mount: Ensures safe and secure installation of child seats.
